Revenue Disclosure Our principal compensation for sales, placement and administration of insurance is in the form of agency commissions, which is a fee-sharing arrangement with the insurance company(ies) whereby we are entitled to a fixed percentage of the premiums paid on your policy. In addition to the above, you should be aware that as a result of placing your insurance, we may receive additional income from the following sources: - Interest earned on insurance monies passing through our insurance bank accounts. - Expense allowances from Insurance Companies for managing and administering certain binding authorities and other similar facilities, including claims which may arise, all of which we believe enable more efficient service and competitive terms to be provided to those clients for whom we consider the use of such facilities appropriate. - Contingent Commissions (sometimes referred to as "profit-sharing" or "incentive commissions"), which may be based on factors that are not client-specific such as premium growth, total premium volume, profitability, or aggregate loss ratio across a book of business placed with a particular insurance company. The existence of a contingent commission agreement has no effect on our independent judgment. Our primary responsibility and concern is selection of the insurance carrier that is most advantageous to the policyholder. - Administrative Service Fees which may be paid for personnel support and limited services we provide to the insurance company(ies) as part of the placement process, generally across a book of business placed with a particular company, including premium billing, collection, remittance and credit control, policy document compilation and record retention. - Marketing Fees which may be paid by an insurance company to cover a portion of the costs of joint marketing efforts, such as mailings or brochures, involving new or preferred products. Should you have questions please contact your Agent.
