About the Candidate
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented insurance professional to join our team as a Commercial Lines Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts and ensuring client insurance needs are met with accuracy, care, and expertise. Professional Responsibilities
- Write and service Commercial Lines insurance policies, including quoting new and renewal business across multiple carrier platforms to deliver comprehensive and competitive coverage solutions.
- Market and remarket commercial accounts to support retention, identify growth opportunities, and attract new business.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client service needs, including renewals, endorsements, certificates, audits, and general inquiries, while delivering a consistently high level of service.
- Review and analyze commercial accounts to identify coverage gaps, eligibility for credits or discounts, and opportunities to enhance protection based on each client’s operations and exposures.
- Evaluate coverage limits and policy structures to ensure clients are appropriately insured for their business risks.
- Prepare re-quotes and remarket Commercial Lines policies when requested or when it is in the client’s best interest.
- Provide sales and administrative support to Producers and collaborate closely with internal team members to meet departmental and organizational goals.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with insurance carriers and clients.
- Accurately document and manage all client activity within the Agency Management System (AMS).
- Stay current on industry trends, carrier products, and regulatory requirements, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
Qualifications And Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant insurance experience required.
- Prior Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience with a focus on Commercial Lines preferred.
- Active MA Property & Casualty insurance license required.
- Experience with AMS360 or a comparable agency management system a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.
- Able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
